Auraiya: Corona havoc is having a huge impact on every state in the country within 24 hours of the death of BJP MLA from Auraiya Sadar assembly constituency Ramesh Chandra Diwakar, his father also died on Saturday. According to family sources, Diwakar's father Ramdutt Diwakar (92) died on Saturday. Ramdutt Diwakar had been ill for some time. Meanwhile, he could not bear the shock of his son's death and died at his farmhouse.

Sources said his last rites were performed on the Yamuna coast here on Saturday evening. It may be recalled that BJP MLA Ramesh Chandra Diwakar (56) of Sadar assembly constituency in Auraiya city of UP passed away on Friday due to corona infection. Diwakar was found infected with corona who was undergoing treatment at a Meerut hospital. He was admitted to Meerut for the last four days and his condition had become serious for two days.

On the other hand, the situation is worsening due to coronavirus in the state. Corona cases in the province seem to be going berserk. Up received 38,055 new corona cases on Saturday, the largest number of corona infected people in the state in a day. At the same time, 223 people died due to corona in the state in the last 24hours. Amidst increasing cases of corona, several hospitals in the state have come across a case of oxygen shortage. Meanwhile, the Yogi government has implemented the oxygen monitoring system oxygen tracking system app which will monitor hospitals to oxygen tankers.
