New Delhi: The world's largest vaccination program against the epidemic has spread all around the corona infection network. At present, vaccine is being administered to persons aged 45 years and above in the country. But, now, the debate on the price of vaccines has intensified. Bharat Biotech has announced the price of its corona vaccine. On the other hand, serum institute of India has also fixed the price of its vaccine covishield.

Krishna M. Alla, CMD, Bharat Biotech said that his company is currently supplying the vaccine to the Central Government at the rate of Rs. "We want to say that more than half of the company's production capacity has been reserved for supply to the Central Government".

Covishield price?
Serum Institute of India (SII) has also fixed the price for covishield vaccine for private hospitals on Saturday. The SII said that for the next few days, private hospitals will be given covishield vaccine at the rate of Rs 600 per dose. A statement issued by the company said that the price of covid covishield vaccine is very low. The Serum Institute of India on Saturday defended the decision to fix the price of covishield vaccine at 1.5 times the price saying that the aramink price was based on advance funding and now it needs to invest more to increase the production capacity.

COVAXIN price?
Bharat Biotech tweeted late on Saturday night announcing the price of its corona vaccine. According to a statement issued by Bharat Biotech, as per the directions of the Government of India, we have announced the prices of COVAXIN doses. According to the statement, Rs.600 per dose will be given to the State Government and Rs.1,200 per dose for private hospitals.
