According to The Hollywood Reporter exclusive, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale is completed and now the creator Malcolm Spellman will be the showrunner. As Spellman begins work to bring the shield once again on the silver screen.
Spellman will be teaming up with Falcon and the Winter Soldier staff writer Dalan Musson to co-write the script. ‘Captain America 4’ is moving forward at Marvel Studios with “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” series writer Malcolm Spellman attached to pen the script. However, no director, storyline or casting has been confirmed yet. Chris Evans played Captain America through his Steve Rogers’ character in all the three films but at the end of the “Avengers: Endgame”, he retired and handed his shield to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson. After which his story is mapped in the series along with Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier. While Sam Wilson will form an integral part and take center stage in Captain America 4. Marvel has not yet confirmed who will be playing Cap after Chris Evans ended his role with Avengers: Endgame. Actor Chris Evans has delighted fans over the years as he has spearheaded three Captain America films.
