Ahmedabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA kicked and thrashed a woman. In a video clip of this shameful circulated on social media, the attacker, a BJP legislator named Balram Thawani, is seen assaulting the woman who was reportedly participating in a protest over water supply in Naroda in Ahmedabad. The video of the entire incident is increasingly going viral on social media, in the which MLA is seen beating woman like goons.

Nitu Tejwani, a supporter of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), has filed a complaint against her attacker. According to witnesses, she was already being manhandled by another man when Balram Thawani came out of his office and joined him in beating her.

According to report, there is a scarcity of water in the area. The woman had gone to the MLA with a water pipeline complaint. Instead of hearing the woman's complaint, the BJP MLA publicly thrashed the woman. The MLA first slapped the woman and beat her by the kick-punches. Meanwhile, the woman was screaming but no one came to save the woman.

In the assembly elections, BJP MLA Balram Thalaiwani had won from Naroda seat in Ahmedabad. There is a BJP government in the state.
