Patna: NDA government is going to be formed in Bihar state and Nitish Kumar will become CM again. Even before the formation of the government, BJP leader Nishikant Dubey has made a request to Nitish Kumar. Nishikant Dubey demands that the liquor ban should be amended in Bihar because it is encouraging corruption in the state.

BJP MP from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey wrote in his tweet that there is an appeal to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to make some amendments in prohibition, as those who want to drink have to follow the route of Nepal, Bengal, Jharkhand, UP, MP, Chhattisgarh. The BJP MP said that due to this loss of revenue, the hotel industry is affected and police and excise promote corruption.

Liquor ban is counted in one of the big decisions of Nitish Kumar, due to which he has often received the support of women voters in the state. Recently in the assembly election, women voters have voted overwhelmingly with the JDU, the NDA, the main reason for which is said to be a decision like prohibition. However, liquor has been recovered several times in Bihar in the electoral environment itself. While the opposition had also declared the liquor ban a failure and said that corruption is increasing in the state. It is worth mentioning that Nitish Kumar had promised a liquor ban in the earlier elections and it was implemented in the state in 2016. In the last 4 years, 4 lakh people have been arrested under the prohibition of liquor law, while the revenue of the state had an impact of up to Rs 4000 crore.
