BJP National Convention Meet in Delhi To Forge Election Strategy Today

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party's national convention kicks off today in New Delhi with a focus on crucial election strategies. Among the key agenda items are discussions on "Developed India: Modi's Guarantee" and the Ram Mandir proposal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to grace the event with his presence.

The convention is expected to see the presentation of two significant proposals. The first proposal will delve into political issues, highlighting Modi's vision for a developed India. The second proposal is likely to express gratitude for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

A diverse array of dignitaries will be in attendance, including ministers from the central cabinet, national and state-level party officials, current and former MPs and MLAs, along with representatives from various other party structures.

Sources reveal that PM Modi has set an ambitious target for the BJP to secure 370 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Achieving this objective hinges on showcasing the Modi government's accomplishments over the past decade, particularly its welfare schemes for the underprivileged. Strategies to translate these achievements to the grassroots level will be explored, involving over 11,000 representatives.

PM Modi will kickstart proceedings by touring an exhibition before engaging in discussions with national officials. The proposals will be deliberated upon on separate days, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and other prominent BJP leaders in attendance.

The convention will witness the hoisting of the flag by BJP President JP Nadda and Prime Minister Modi at 3:30 pm. This will be followed by a welcome address by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and Nadda's presidential speech at around 4:30 pm.

The first proposal, "Developed India: Modi's Guarantee," will be presented today, followed by the Ram Mandir proposal tomorrow. PM Modi is slated to deliver the concluding speech on Sunday at 12:30 pm.

The convention, held at Bharat Mandapam, commenced with an exhibition highlighting the Modi government's achievements over the past decade, inaugurated by Nadda on Friday.

Adding to the significance of the event, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also be in attendance, accompanied by 1226 party workers. Discussions will also revolve around winning the 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
