New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today staged a massive demonstration in Bihar against the Congress party and its then-president Rahul Gandhi after getting a clean chit from the Supreme Court on the Rafael Deal case. A large number of activists led by Bihar BJP unit and West Champaran MP Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal along with party national spokesperson and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain staged a massive protest at Kargil Chowk in the capital Patna.

Slogans were raised against the Congress during the protests. BJP workers were demanding that Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and then president Rahul Gandhi publicly apologize for the lies spoken in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and the subsequent Rafael Deal case. During this, State President Dr. Jaiswal said that in the Rafael Deal Case, the Supreme Court has given a clean chit to the Central Government. In such a situation, the Congress Party and its then president should publicly apologize.

He said that this decision of the Supreme Court has proved that the Congress Party and its leaders were only lying by spreading confusion among the people. Dr. Jaiswal said that even after all things had been cleared in Parliament, Mr. Gandhi has such a character. Mr. Gandhi himself apologized to the Supreme Court that he had made a mistake in commenting about PM Narendra Modi, but that person comes out and acts to deceive the country.
