New Delhi: After the Maharashtra assembly elections, the party's Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs will be seen sitting in opposition during the winter session when Shiv Sena is ousted from the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the centre. All Shiv Sena MPs will now get bases in the opposition line. Shiv Sena will not attend the NDA meeting to be held this afternoon ahead of the winter session of Parliament.

Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut was now sitting in the Seat of 38 on the Treasury Benches in the Rajya Sabha. According to sources, he will now be seen sitting in the seat of number 198 in the opposition row. Sanjay Raut will also be the chair of two other Rajya Sabha MPs from Shiv Sena. In the Lok Sabha, 18 Shiv Sena MPs have also been seated in the opposition line. According to sources, they will get a chair in the fifth row.

Each time the NDA meets to determine the strategy before the parliament session. The BJP-led NDA meeting is scheduled to begin on Sunday, the first Sunday of the parliament session beginning Monday. The BJP has not invited Shiv Sena to this crucial meeting in Maharashtra even after contesting elections. Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has also said that the party will no longer attend any NDA meeting.
