Agra: Tight security arrangements have been made for the BJP's rally in support of CAA at the Kothi Meena Bazar Maidan in Agra. As many as 1500 soldiers, 450 officers and four company PACs have been deployed in the security duty. It is also being said that rooftop duty has been imposed from Kheria Airport to Kothi Meena Bazaar. Police has verified 500 families living around Kothi Meena Bazaar. But drone cameras will also be monitored around the rally venue. At the same time, police were deployed on Wednesday night in mixed populated areas on the fear of opposition to the citizenship law.

On Wednesday, 22 January 2020, ADG Ajay Anand, IG A Satish Ganesh, SSP Bablu Kumar, SP City Botre Rohan Pramod briefed the police line. Police personnel were given directions. After this, the officials checked the rally venue. Seen the security system here. Police forces have been deployed at homes around Kothi Meena Bazaar. Vehicles will not be allowed on the road leading to the rally venue. Apart from this, drone cameras will also be monitored. Along with the police, officers of the intelligence department will also be in the nearby neighborhoods.

It is reported that the force will be deployed in other mixed populated areas in the city. A cyber cell has been set up to monitor social media. Force will also remain at 11 parking lots. Police force has also been called from outside. But at the same time, it has also been noticed that on the social media recently, 70 people who had commented against the citizenship law were marked. The police is eyeing all these. SSP Bablu Kumar told that some more people have been marked. They are also being monitored.
