New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday took a dig at the Congress for allegedly making remarks about the country's first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and accused it of "committing sin". In fact, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) met on Saturday. Citing a media report, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra questioned whether Congress president Sonia Gandhi and former president Rahul Gandhi will scold Tariq Hamid Karra, who has made anti-Sardar Patel remarks.

Patra further said, 'We all know that congress is just a family party. The Congress aims to carry forward the legacy of the Nehru-Gandhi family and how to maintain the height of flattery. Today, newspapers have reported that some questions about Kashmir were raised at the CWC meeting held 2 days ago. The meeting created an atmosphere of confusion about Kashmir. It was also said that Jawaharlal Nehru Ji integrated Jammu and Kashmir into India.''

Patra said, "It was also stated in the meeting that Sardar Patel had met Jinnah for the entire purpose and Sardar Patel along with Jinnah were trying to keep Kashmir separate from India. Today, it is clear that to keep the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty above to keep the legacy of its family high, whether it is Subhas Chandra Bose, Veer Savarkar, Sardar Patel or anyone, spread confusion in the name of anyone, the Congress party can do everything. When such things were being said about Sardar Patel, the ideal of all of us, did Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, who were present at the meeting, say that such things should not be said?''
