"Modi-ji has made 130 crore people nation's development shareholders. Till now they (people) have been politically exploited. Now, those shutters are down. People now understand who is their real well-wishers," he added.

Earlier, speaking at an event in Hyderabad on Friday, Mr Owaisi, who was re-elected to parliament from Hyderabad for a fourth consecutive term, also called Muslims "hissedaar (shareholders)" as opposed to "kirayedaar (tenants). India's laws and Constitution give us permission to follow our religion. When India's  Prime Minister Narendra Modi can go to a temple, you can also proudly visit a mosque," Asaduddin Owaisi said.

During this time, Owaisi also said that, "If anybody thinks that if the Wazir-e-Azam (PM Modi) of India wins 300 Lok Sabha seats by winning arbitrary elections, it will not be possible. We want to say from Wazir-e-Azam, by referring to the rules of the Constitution that Owaisi will fight for you, will fight for the justice of the people. Hindutva has to be dominated and we will keep India populated. We are equal here, the tenants are not the shareholders. '
