New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for a big celebration to mark the completion of 8 years of the PM Narendra Modi-led government. A meeting was also held by senior leaders of the party for the mass celebrations on May 26. It is reported that preparations are being made by the BJP for everything from public meetings to the achievements of the government and other programmes like havan and Hanuman Chalisa recitation.
Media reports quoting sources have informed that the BJP is preparing the plan and it is expected to be finalised by May 5. After this, the state and district units of the BJP will be briefed about the scheme. A number of programmes will be organized to inform about the programmes for the welfare of the poor, free food grains for 80 crore people and other achievements.
It is being told that the impact of the ongoing controversy over the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa and the religious procession can also be seen on the party's celebrations. The special thing is that in the year 2020, the BJP held virtual meetings and events due to Covid. At the same time, in 2021, party workers organized small programmes to reach out to the poor. Now there is a possibility that the party may prepare for the mass celebrations this year.
