Central ruling BJP party which has been raising the old slogan “Kazhangangal Illadha Thamizhagam, Tamil Nadu without Kazhagams” is all set to intesify the poll work. Party's union ministers will take a periodical visit to poll-bound state inaugurating and reviewing central schemes implemented in Tamil Nadu, a move which is considered as a counter to the visits of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and also help the TN BJP to build the party and reach the public vastly by popularising the central schemes.

A state BJP functionary said, central ministers will also take up similar drives in TN as that of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He briefed about recent visit from Centre stating, "The union minister for fisheries and animal husbandry Giriraj Singh conducted a day-long visit in Chennai and Kancheepuram and inspected the central aquaculture facilities, the ornamental fish hatcheries and the Kasimedu fishing harbour. The union minister had assured funds and development projects for the marine and the inland fisheries projects".

Previously union Information minister Prakash Javedkar, Home Minister Amit Shah made visits to TN and others including finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will roll out schemes and projects that will empower Tamil Nadu. TN BJP firmly believes multiple visits by the central ministers and the BJP leaders will certainly pay dividends in the upcoming polls.
