With this announcement, the BJP has taken significant steps in finalizing its candidate lineup for the Telangana assembly elections. The party has now revealed candidates for a total of 100 out of the 119 assembly segments in the state. The remaining 19 seats are expected to be allocated to the BJP's ally, Janasena, led by actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan.

It's worth noting that Chalamala Krishna Reddy's transition from the Congress to the BJP adds an interesting dimension to the upcoming elections. His move follows the departure of Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, who had been the BJP's candidate in the Munugode bypoll last year. These political shifts and candidate selections are part of the BJP's strategy as they prepare for the critical Telangana assembly elections.
