Ahmedabad: BJP will not give tickets to people above 60 years of age. There is a feeling of sadness from the BJP's decision. This decision has been taken in the meeting of BJP's compilation committee and parliamentary board. This meeting held in Gujarat was led by the state president CR Patil.

During this, decisions were taken on many important issues related to the party as well as many such decisions were taken which activists were surprised on hearing this. The most important decision was taken in the meeting that BJP will not give tickets to the leaders above 60 years of age, as well as the relatives of corporators and officials who have held the post for three terms will also be denied tickets. As BJP state unit president CR Patil announced the decisions taken in the parliamentary board, all the workers were surprised.

It is being told that 40 to 50% of the seating corporates in Surat will be cut by this decision. Even before this, CR Patil had said in a program that workers above the age of 55 years should not demand tickets. Due to which there was an atmosphere of tension in the party and now by issuing new guidelines, the BJP has surprised the workers and the leaders.
