JAIPUR: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot called the BJP and RSS "fascist," and Rajasthan's BJP President CP Joshi retorted by saying Gehlot has a "RSS phobia" and that is why he says such things.

He reportedly stated that RSS workers are prepared to assist in any disaster, as reported by PTI. He claimed in a statement on Thursday that "the Congress has a phobia of the RSS, so its leaders keep making flimsy allegations against the RSS."

"Sangh workers always perform their duties in society with devotion like a soldier, without any discrimination, while the Congress is nothing more than a dispersed organisation devoted to one family," he claimed.  He asserted that the Congress' demise was caused by its honouring of terrorists and its denunciation of patriots.

Joshi suggested that the chief minister should reflect on why his party's MLAs call him a "fascist." "He claims to be Gandhi of Mewar, although he spent all five of his years fighting for the chair. Gehlot is saying everything to catch Rahul Gandhi's attention because he is frightened of losing the polls in 2023, the speaker claimed.
