The company has priced the F 900 R naked sports bike at Rs 9.9 lakh. The F 900 XR has priced an adventure sport tourer at Rs 10.5 lakh, while the F 900 XR Pro has been priced at Rs 11.5 lakh. In the Indian market, BMW F 900 R will compete with Triumph Street Triple RS, KTM 790 Duke and Ducati Monster 821. The F 900 XR will compete with the Ducati Multistrada 950 and the upcoming Triumph Tiger 900 GT. Bookings for both models have started at BMW Motorrad dealerships from today.
The BMW F 900 R is a muscular roadster motorcycle and the engine is clearly visible in it. It has been given thicker rear tires and aggressive stance so that its road presence looks strong. The company makes it look more muscular with contrast side panels, extruded fuel tank and gold forks. The F 900 R will look like the elder brother of the BMW G 310 GS in the Indian market.
