China's BOE Technolog may soon begin manufacturing OLED panels for iPhone 12 series. Accoring to the report, it has cleared the roadblocks and would soon start making OLED panels for Apple's new iPhone 12 lineup, according to an industry analyst firm.
Samsung would be making about 130 million units next year, followed by LG with 40 million units and Beijing-headquartered BOE would make 10 million units. According to a report in GSMArena, going into 2021, if the iPhone 12 lineup sales continue to gorw, the order might be bumped up to 20 million.
Now, an industry analyst firm says that BOE has received certification and will soon start.
