Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan's previous film 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' had made a tremendous amount at the box office. Now the first poster of his forthcoming sports period drama film Maidan has been released. The film stars Ajay Devgan as the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is associated with the golden period of Indian football in the 1950s.

Sharing the post of 'Maidan', he has written that this is the story of the golden phase of Indian football and its biggest and success coach. Ajay Devgan is seen in Intes Look in the first poster released. In the second poster, he is seen kicking the football, dressed in a formal dress and carrying an umbrella and a bag in his hand. Let me tell you that 'Maidan' is a sports drama film dedicated to the golden years of Indian football. Apart from Ajay Devgan, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao are also in lead roles in the film.

In an interview recently, Ajay Devgan had said, 'This is a fantastic story, director Amit Sharma has done a great job. The time has changed, the story has changed. Today, no commercial elements are intentionally added to a film, be it a song or a romantic angle. The field has been a very moving and emotional journey for me.
