Yuvraj Singh, the Dhak batsman of the Indian cricket team, announced his retirement from international cricket on Monday and his announcement has also made people quite surprised.  Even as the news of Yuvraj's retirement surfaced, the B-town celebs have also given a special response through social media. These include stars like Anupam Kher, Varun Dhawan, Raveena Tandon.

In a tweet, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher wrote, "Dear Yuvraj Singh, you have inspired crores of Indian people all over the world, not just as a cricketer but as someone whose attitude towards life has always been winning and people like you never retire. We will always appreciate your strength and courage."

Further actress Raveena Tandon wrote that ' Dear Yuvraj Singh... A heart-breaking but courageous decision and you have always entertained everyone with your magnificent innings. You have also greatly honoured the country of the nation. You are the true son of this clay. 6 Sixes, the T20 World Cup against England, will always be alive in our minds and best wishes to you for the future. '

Bollywood's young actor Varun Dhawan appeared to thank Yuvraj and in the meantime, he wrote that "Thank you, Yuvraj Singh, for all those memories and for always presenting himself as a brilliant ambassador towards the game."

Also, actor Angad Bedi appeared to be a bit emotional and he had three tweets together. He wrote that  'it is quite a difficult decision. It's hard to stop your tears and you've seen great ups and downs in life. At the same time, you have looked very close and you will always be my favourite as a cricketer and friend. You got a happy life.'

In another tweet ahead, Angad wrote, "Thank you for what you did for Indian cricket. He also shared a photo of Yuvraj's jersey."
