Lucknow: The National President of Bharatiya Kisan Manch, Devendra Tiwari, received an alarming email containing threats to detonate the revered Shri Ram Temple and to harm CM Yogi Adityanath along with the STF chief. The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has been promptly informed about this concerning development, as confirmed by the police. Alongside the threats to Tiwari, the email also contained a death threat. In response, a case has been filed based on a complaint lodged by a UP-112 inspector at Sushant Golf City police station. The sender of the threatening email identified themselves as Zubair Khan.

Law enforcement agencies, including the ATS and the police, are actively investigating the case and attempting to trace the sender's whereabouts. The FIR, registered by Inspector Sahendra Kumar of UP-112, revealed that Devendra Tiwari reported the email from "Zubair Khan" at 7:37 pm on December 27 via Twitter (now X). The contents of the email alleged that CM Yogi and the STF Chief had caused widespread suffering, targeting Tiwari as well by stating, "You too (Devendra Tiwari) have become a great cow servant. Therefore everyone will be bombed. Ayodhya’s Shri Ram temple will also be blown up. ISI is taking responsibility for this."

Anjani Kumar, SHO of Golf City, specified that the FIR included charges under IPC 153 A (promoting enmity between different groups based on religion, race, place of birth, residence, language), 507 (intimidation through anonymous communication), and IT Act against Zubair Khan.

Elsewhere in India, authorities in Thane received a bomb threat email targeting a 144-year-old synagogue. The email, originating from the US, claimed that a terrorist group named Fuming had planted bombs within the synagogue premises. In response, authorities swiftly evacuated the synagogue and conducted a meticulous search, which yielded no suspicious items. The synagogue holds significant importance for India's Jewish community, particularly in Thane, prompting an increase in security measures following the threat.

In a separate incident, the Mumbai Crime Branch apprehended three individuals from Vadodara in connection with a threatening email sent to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and two private banks. The email demanded the resignation of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das. Arshil Tapola, the main accused, is set to be arrested as investigations revealed that the threatening emails were sent using his laptop and IP address. The email further alleged the placement of 11 bombs across various Mumbai locations, accusing RBI and private banks of perpetrating India's biggest scam in history.
