Bombay High Court Justice Sarang Kotwal severely scolded the lawyer during a hearing last Monday. In fact, this hearing was taking place through video conference. Meanwhile, the lawyers had forgotten that their microphone was on and said in Marathi against the court, 'Bagh Kotwal is in court. This means, 'Look at how crowded Kotwal's court is.' Justice Sarang Kotwal got angry when he said so. Let me tell you that some public prosecutors, police constables, and others were present inside the courtroom at that time.

The hearing is taking place through video conference due to corona infection. In fact, only a few people need to come for the proper functioning of the court and permission has to be obtained first for their entry. That is why the lawyer had said this after seeing the crowd in the court. As soon as Justice Kotwal heard the statement, he immediately asked his colleague to find out who said it. When his colleague named him, Justice Kotwal found that the lawyer had logged out and another lawyer was appearing in his place from the same court. Justice Kotwal asked the lawyer to be present. Meanwhile, when the lawyer said that he would ask his colleague to be present in Justice Kotwal's court, he refused to listen to it. Justice Kotwal then directed that lawyers be present at the video conferencing hearing. In fact, Justice Kotwal said, 'Let everyone see who said it.'

Apart from this, Justice Kotwal also said, "It is his prerogative to allow or call whom in his courtroom. Apart from legal knowledge, you need to learn how to conduct, etiquette, and address the court. He then asked the lawyer to learn from his colleagues and seniors and respect the system.'' In fact, Kotwal said, "If you don't respect the system, you will not get any respect." Finally, the lawyer apologized but Justice Kotwal did not accept his apology and dismissed him from the hearing.
