Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has slammed BJP MP Sujay Vikhe Patil from Ahmednagar Lok Sabha seat. Patil is accused of secretly buying Remdesivir stocks from Delhi. The court said that the path they have chosen is wrong. At the same time, the court has advised him not to become Robinhood.

A bench headed by Justice Ravindra Ghughe said that it is ultimately unfair to follow the wrong path. Remdesivir injection should be used and distributed in equal proportions among all, not in this way. The court said that we just want to know how Vikhe Patil bought injections of Remadesivir unofficially and secretly. The court said the entire matter needs to be investigated. The court has summoned the Ahmednagar DM for the same.

A video of a BJP MP from Ahmed Nagar South Lok Sabha seat was seen bringing 10,000 Remdesivirs from a charter plane. He himself was claiming this in the video. Based on that video, a petition was filed in the Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court. The court was asked to register a criminal case against Patil.
