Mumbai: The case of burial of dead bodies infected with coronavirus has once again reached the Bombay High Court. The apex court has asked the High Court to hear the matter again. The apex court said that the High Court's order denying the demand made in the petition was interim, hence the High Court should hear it again.

The Supreme Court has asked to complete the hearing in this case within two weeks. The petition calls for a ban on the corona infected bodies due to the possibility of infection. Residents of Mumbai's Bandra had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking a moratorium on the burial of dead bodies in the case of corona infection.

In the petition, the Bombay High Court's April 27 decision was challenged in which the High Court rejected the demand for a ban on burial of bodies. It was said in the petition that there is a possibility of spreading the infection by burying the coronavirus infected bodies, so this order should be stayed. Now the Bombay High Court will hear again on this matter.
