Border Security Force Fires Shots at Pakistani Drone near J&K's Samba Border

Samba/Jammu: BSF soldiers fired shots on Friday night to bring down a Pakistani drone near the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district, officials reported.

According to officials, troops from the Border Security Force (BSF) noticed the movement of the drone from the Pakistani side late at night and fired around twenty rounds on Saturday.

However, the drone managed to return to the Pakistani side, officials confirmed.

To ensure no weapons or drugs were dropped, a search operation was launched in Narayanpur, Ramgarh sector, on Saturday morning to sanitize the border outpost area.

Troops from the Border Security Force (BSF) detected the drone's movement from the Pakistan side late at night and fired around twenty rounds on Saturday.

The drone, however, managed to return to the Pakistani side, officials confirmed.
A search operation was initiated in Narayanpur, Ramgarh sector, on Saturday morning to sanitize the border outpost area and prevent any potential drop of weapons or narcotics.

This incident marks another instance of heightened vigilance along the border, reflecting the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.
