Mumbai: After the opening weekend, the pace of the film Thappad by director Anubhav Sinha and Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has slowed down a bit. On the fifth day of its release on Tuesday, the film has grossed around 2 crores, which is not much less in proportion to the collections of Monday. On Monday, 'Thappad' had earned Rs 2.26 crore, after which the net collection of 4 days had increased to Rs 16.92 crore.

Now if the estimated earnings of Tuesday are also added, then the total earnings of 5 days has exceeded 18 crores. Talking about the journey so far, the film released in cinemas on Friday (February 28) took an opening of 3.07 crores. 5.05 crore on Saturday and 6.54 crore on Sunday. In the opening weekend, Thappad's earning was 14.66 crores.

After which the difficulty of all the films currently running will increase. That is why this is the one week that Thappad has, in which the collections of the film can be increased.
