Box office collection: Vicky Kaushal starrer URI mints Rs 122.59 crore, all set to beat Raazi

Vicky Kaushal’s war film Uri: The Surgical Strike is doing a spectacular business at the box film. Aditya Dhar directorial has achieved the feat in a career spanning almost three and a half years, which is absolutely phenomenal. On its second Tuesday, film Strike added Rs 6.30 crore more to its kitty. After a 12-day run at the box-office, its total collection stands at Rs 122.59 crore. It is now almost a crore short of surpassing the lifetime collection of Raazi which has collected Rs 123.84 crore.

Notable Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh summed up the business of Uri: The Surgical Strike in a tweet he posted on Wednesday His Tweet reads,  #UriTheSurgicalStrike is winning hearts and wooing BO with josh... Meghna Gulzar directorial  Raazi had Vicky playing the role of a Pakistani Army officer who was married to Alia Bhatt’s character of an Indian spy. In this film, he plays an Indian Army officer.

. The film is based on the 2016 Surgical Strikes conducted by the Indian Army against the Pakistani terror launchpads across the LoC. Besides Vicky Kaushal, it  also stars Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Rajit Kapur and Kirti Kulhari in important roles.
