One of the most awaiting film KGF finally released on Friday. Yash starrer film has opened well in the Karnataka market and the film has created a record in the US box office too. It has gained 100K plus on Day one in the US, which is a record for any Kannada film. The Telugu film also has earned Rs 20 lakhs.
Business analyst ramesh Bala, shared the BO collection of the film via Twitter. His Tweet reads, “#KGF has crossed $100K at the #USA Box office.. Around $120K now..Fastest Kannada movie to do so.. In premieres and partial Day 1..”
The audiences are loving this action-packed entertainer. The film also stars Srinidhi Shetty as Yash's leading lady and Mouni Roy has been roped in for a sizzling dance number.
The story of the movie revolves around, Ramakrishna/ Rocky Bhai who is given a mission to eliminate a ruthless mining gang-lord Garuda who runs a mining hub of Narachi in Karnataka. It has clashed with films like Zero, Maari 2, Antariksham, Seethakanthi and others at the South Indian and Hindi box office. It is directed by Prashanth Neel.
