Akshay Kumar's film Good Newwz, known actor of Hindi cinema, has completed a week's journey at the box office and has earned a tremendous amount during this period. Net collection of the film has crossed 127 crores in the first week. The film, released on the last Friday of the year, has been well received by the audience. According to media reporter's reports, Good Newwz has collected 10.80 crore on the seventh day of its release on Thursday. With this the net collection of the film has gone to 127.90 crores. Good Newwz was released on 27 December and the film has consistently performed well during this period.
The film took an opening of 17.56 crores on Friday. 21.78 crores was collected on Saturday and 25.65 crores on Sunday. Good newwz continued in the last days of the year. The film collected 13.41 crores on the first Monday and 16.20 crores on Tuesday. On Wednesday, at the beginning of the new year, there was a strong jump in the collections of Good News and the film collected 22.50 crores. With this, the film took entry into the 100 crore club on the sixth day.
Get Bhangra today and all Kushal Mangal are released today, but there is no particular threat to Good Newwz. The film's collections are likely to pick up in the second weekend. It is believed that after the second weekend, the film will accumulate around 170 crores. Good News was Akshay Kumar's fourth release in 2019. Earlier, Kesari, Mission Mangal and Housefural 4 performed at the box office with an amazing hit rating. Good News is a social comedy directed by Raj Mehta, which featured the sperm exchange story. The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and actress Kiara Advani in lead roles alongside Akshay.
