The Bihar Police Under Service Commission has released the result of the main examination for the post of Officer, Sergeant and Assistant jail Superintendent. As per the results released by the Bihar Police Under Service Commission, a total of 15231 candidates have been declared successful for the post of the officer, sergeant and assistant jail superintendent. About 50 thousand 76 candidates were declared successful for the main examination. A total of 2446 posts are to be recruited.

The exam was held on 29 November:
The Bihar Police Under Service Commission had conducted the main examination on 29th November 2020 for the three posts of the officer, Sergeant and assistant jail superintendent. A total of 47987 candidates were involved in this exam. The merit list of candidates who brought more than 30% marks in the test was prepared.

6 times candidate successful:
The Bihar Police Under Service Commission has declared 6 times the candidates as successful in the main examination for the officer, Sergeant and assistant jail superintendent. These candidates will now have to give physical proficiency test. The successful candidates in the main examination include 9924 men and 5307 women candidates. The cutoff was 75.8% for general category man and it was 61.9% for women.
