Dattatreya Story:-
Once, the three gods Brahma, Narayana and Mahdev prithvi reached lok to test the pativrat dharma of Anasuya, wife of Maharishi Atri Muni. The three devas, dressed as sadhus, reached Attri Muni's ashram and expressed their desire for food before Mother Anasuya. The three gods bet that they should feed them naked. The mother was suspicious of this. He looked carefully and saw Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh standing as sadhus standing in front of him. Mother Anasuya extracted water from the kamandal of Atri Muni and sprinkled it on the three sadhus. After that, the three rishis became infants. Then the mother fed the gods. When the three deities became infants, the three goddesses (Parvati, Saraswati and Lakshmi) reached prithvi lokand apologized to Mother Anasuya. The three gods also admitted their error and requested to be born from the womb of the mother. The three gods were then born as Dattatreya. From then on, Mother Anasuya was worshipped as a son-in-the-be.
