Brahmastra Box office Day 4: Likely to touch 250 crores in India soon

After the failure of various Big Budget movies of the year, Brahmastra is doing very well at the Box office. After registering a record opening of Rs 75 crores worldwide on its opening day, Brahmastra saw a massive jump in its collection on day two. Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has so far grossed over Rs 143 crore in India, and Rs 65 crore from overseas markets, taking its global total to around Rs 209 crore in four days.

As per a Box office report, “ On its first Monday with Hindi collections of Rs. 14.25 cr and dubbed language collections of Rs. 2 cr, for a total of Rs. 16.25 cr nett. The film has passed the Monday litmus test as it has held well despite coming from high levels on Friday, which was a partial holiday in a few contributing circuits. Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva is very much on course to breach the Rs. 250 cr nett India mark. It will cross 10 million dolllars by Tuesday, the film is also likely to top a worldwide gross of Rs. 450 cr.” 

Earlier, The director of the film Ayan Mukherjee pens a thank you note, “Gratitude, excitement, hope! A big thank you to everyone, everywhere who has gone to the cinemas to experience Brahmastra, keeping our movie-going culture vibrant and dynamic. Looking forward to the next few days.”

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra Part One-Shiva is the first part of a sci-fi trilogy. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan has extended cameos in the film.
