Jaipur: This news belongs to the largest hospital in Rajasthan. The second heart transplant of government-run hospitals was successfully done at Sawai Mansingh Hospital. The first heart transplant patient has been discharged from the hospital 3 days in advance. The heart transplant by Dr. Anil Sharma, Cardiothoracic Surgeon of SMS Hospital, has been carried out from last Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. Here, 18-year-old teenager, resident of Sardulshahar, Sriganganagar, has been prepared for organ transplant when his family is braided. On getting ready for the relatives, the patient already admitted to the hospital had a heart transplant in a successful operation which lasted for about 11 hours.

Two kidneys of brain dead young man have also been transplanted to two already admitted patients in Sawai Mansingh Hospital. 3 people have been given new life from the organs donated by this boy. The Superintendent of SMS Hospital, Dr. DS Meena and Principal of SMS Medical College, Dr. Sudhir Bhandari have expressed great gratitude to the family of the donor youth. Earlier, on January 16, SMS Hospital had created a record history of the first heart transplant in any government hospital not only in the state but also in entire North India. Heart transplant started on January 16 at 3.40 am on Thursday. The operation went on till 8:50 in the morning. The team of nine doctors and 17 people, including SMS's heart transplant specialist Dr. Anil Sharma, achieved this success in about 5 hours. The most important thing is that no external doctor's help was taken in the heart transplant.

Talking about the whole incident, on January 10, Rajsamand's 25-year-old Savarmal was injured in a road accident. He was brought an SMS after the accident where he was declared brain dead on 14 January. After this, the family gave permission for organ donation. All the organs of the young man were working properly, so it was decided to give the heart, liver, and kidney. The cardiothoracic department team started working on the night of 14 January and the patient was called to the hospital. On the night of 15 January, the preparations were transplanted on the morning of 16 January.
