Ambala: The farmers' agitation in Punjab has caused a major crisis. There is a break on festival special trains. As per the information received, these trains have been cancelled up to 4th November. It is said that in Punjab, the farmers were sitting on the railway track, but now they have gone away, they have asked only to run the goods trains. They have threatened that passenger trains should not be run. Due to this, the schedule of trains has been changed by the Railways. Now, till 4th November, trains will not be operated for Punjab-Amritsar. Recently, a list of cancelled trains has been released on behalf of the railways. With this, the railway passengers from Punjab and Haryana to other states will have to face a lot of hardships on the occasion of festivals. Let us tell which trains have been cancelled.
Cancellation of these trains:- 02422 Jammu Tawi-Ajmer Express Special, 02231 Lucknow-Chandigarh, 04888 Rishikesh-Barmer, train No. 04519 Bakthada-Delhi, 02471 Sriganganagar-Delhi, 04998 Badxhada-Varanasi, 04612 Srimata Vaishno Devi Katra-Varanasi Special Express, 0440 New Delhi-Srimata Vaishno Devi Special Katra trains will remain closed till 4th November.
Trains from Ambala:- 02903 Mumbai-Central Amritsar Express, 02925 Bathada-Terminus Express, 02715 Nanded-Amritsar Express, 03307 Ferozepur-Express, 04649 Jayanagar-Amritsar, 02057 New-Delhi-Una Himachal, 04653 New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar, 05933 Dibrugarh-Amritsar, 09025 Jayanagar-Amritsar, 09025 Bandra-Terminus, 00901 Bandra-Terminus etc. These trains will not go to Punjab. In addition, 02237 Varanasi-Jammu Tawi will run to Saharanpur.
