According to reports, Raj passed away due to a heart attack. Raj had a party with friends on Sunday itself. He had shared a picture with Mandira and friends on Monday and said that he had a great Sunday.

Raj was an Indian director, producer. Raj has directed films Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Shaadi Ka Laddu, and Anthony Kaun Hai. Apart from these, he has also produced My Brother Nikhil, Shaadi Ka Laddoo, and Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. Mandira and Raj had a love marriage. The two got married in 1999 and then became parents to their son Veer in 2011. Mandira and Raj were enjoying life with the children, but who knew that their lives would suddenly change.
