London: In his first reaction to "Hinduphobia", the leader of the United Kingdom's (UK) opposition party Labor and MP Keir Starmer has made strong remarks about the attacks on Hindus in Leicester and Birmingham. He said that we have to fight together against such religious crimes. He has appealed to unite against such forces. Starmer said these things while addressing Europe's biggest Navratri event in London on Wednesday (October 5).

He has said that 'I know that many people are targeted on the basis of their religion and hate crime has increased in recent years. I am tired of divisive politics. I am saddened by the division we have seen on the streets of Leicester and also at the incident in Birmingham in recent times. We all must stand united against the violence and hatred spread by extremists who misuse social media.'
