London - At a school in Burton, Staffordshire, Britain, a teacher asks the girl students to wipe out the Palestinian flag on their hands. Since then, there has been a demand to expel the teacher from the school. According to media reports, the students had reached the school with a Palestinian flag on their hands. After being interrupted by the teacher, their parents came out of Burton's The De Ferrers Academy and started protesting.

According to reports, 1000 parents signed a letter online to remove the teacher. It said that some students had made their hands Palestinian flags. They were told that they were supporting the terrorist group. It further said, "How Palestine becomes a terrorist, who was bombed, wounded and killed." The De Ferrers Trust said there has been anger among some people in the community since the incident. Trust chief executive Ian McNelli said there were things coming up in between that there would be protests in this regard. But, in view of the busy road outside the school, he requested that it should not be done. "There is tension among some people in the community, but the police are supporting us while doing their duty and also advising us how to handle the situation".

According to Ian, "Our biggest concern is the safety and well-being of our students. Therefore, we are instructing them not to participate in any protest. It's not because we're against the nature of opposition that draws attention to the human crisis. Rather, because we think it is not good to crowd a school already running in a busy place".
