London: British PM Boris Johnson is to visit India at the end of April. It is important that this will be PM Johnson's first international visit after Brexit. Earlier, he was scheduled to visit India as the chief guest on republic day, but he canceled the tour once again as the coronavirus case escalated. However, he had talked about coming to India soon.

News agency Reuters quoted PM Boris Johnson's office as saying about his visit. The government says it will focus on the Indo-Pacific region as part of an integrated review of the government's policy for years to come. According to the government, the region represents the world's geopolitical hub on a large scale.

Boris Johnson's visit to India has been confirmed after the cancellation of the earlier two visits. During that time, Johnson canceled his visit to India as corona cases escalated in the UK. In January, he was coming to India with the intention of enhancing the business discussion between the two countries. Downing Street had announced that Johnson would visit in January 2021 to strengthen strategic relationships. It supports jobs and investments throughout the United Kingdom.
