Kevin Federline, Britney Spears' ex-husband, has spoken up about the singer's conservatorship dispute and the reasons he kept quiet about it. A new preview for the 44-year-old backup dancer's interview with 60 Minutes Australia showed him talking about Spears' conservatorship and their children. The former couple's recent argument precedes the interview.

In the upcoming episode, which will air on Sunday, September 4. Federline asserted that he had to continue to put their children, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, first, and that he couldn't let Spears' legal troubles interfere with that. Kevin discussed Britney's conservatorship battle in the teaser video and added, "I felt terrible for her. I was, in fact." He said, "I still feel horrible," according to US Weekly.

From 2004 to 2006, Kevin and Britney were married. After 13 years, Spears' conservatorship ultimately ended in November of last year. After Spears' widely publicised highs and lows following her divorce from Federline, the contract was put into effect in 2008.

While her sons were not present, Britney and her longtime lover Sam Asghari recently got married, Federline released a statement saying, "Although the boys will not be in attendance, Kevin and the boys are happy for Britney and wish her and Sam all the best going forward." However, relations between the ex-spouses became tense last month after Federline claimed that their sons were uneasy with Britney's revealing Instagram posts.

Recently, Britney Spears's ex-husband Kevin Federline spoke about the singer's relationship with their sons in an interview and opened up about her social media posts which are revealing, claiming that their teenage boys must be finding it hard to deal with. Following this was an emotional reply from the singer herself. Britney and her husband Sam Asghari both responded to Federline's comment and Spears also posted a lengthy post on Instagram.
