New Delhi: BSNL, a public sector company providing telecom services, is often in the discussion because of its poor health. The company, which is under debt, has decided to improve its position. The company owes about Rs 3,000 crore on its customers. The company expects to recover over Rs 3,000 crore dues in the next two to three months. BSNL Chairman and Managing Director P K Purwar said, "Our company owes over Rs 3,000 crore to customers.

We are taking aggressive steps to recover it. We are also succeeding in this direction. "We cannot tell by when the entire arrears will be recovered, but we hope that a large amount will be recovered in the next two to three months," Kepani Chairman Purwar said. Apart from this, the company is also expected to earn an increased income from fares.

BSNL's fares this year are eyeing an income of about Rs 1,000 crore. Last year, it was Rs.200 crore. Under the scheme, more and more use of existing buildings and more space is planned to be leased out. There is a difference of Rs 800 crore between the monthly income and expenditure of the company. The company is not able to pay even the salaries of its employees on time. With Jio's arrival, things have become more challenging for the company.
