Earlier this month, the government has announced rs 44,720 crore to the loss-making BSNL. This has also been announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her budget 2022-23 speech. As per the budget , this money is going to be used in BSNL's 4G service and restructuring of the company. With Rs 44,720 crore for upgradation, the government has also announced an additional financial assistance of Rs 7,443.57 to BSNL for the voluntary retirement scheme. Rs 3,550 crore will also be given for GST payments.
