On Friday BSNL announced precious plans for its users which includes unlimited calling for its prepaid customers and limited free data usage and free call in just Rs. 99 per month. This offer is may be the result of having a new competitor “Reliance Jio” in the Telecom sector who is offering all this stuff in just minimal prices.
"BSNL has introduced unlimited local and STD BSNL to BSNL with 300MB data for only Rs. 99 with validity of 28 days for its prepaid mobile customers," the company said in a statement. In starting these prices are available for Kolkata TD, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Gujarat, MP, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra & Rajasthan that also for within network calls. But in other circles these prices may vary from Rs. 119 to 149.
"BSNL has also introduced new combo STV with Unlimited local and STD BSNL to any network with 1GB data for only Rs 339 with validity of 28 days on pan-India basis," the statement said. Unlimited 3G services in just Rs.1099 for 30 day are offered by BSNL.
"Tariff offered by BSNL are most competitive and is committed to provide affordable and excellent services to our esteemed customers," BSNL Director for Consumer Mobility RK Mittal said. All the existing companies offered several cost cutter plans after the welcome of Reliance Jio. Like Airtel and Idea is offering 4G services in Rs.150 and Rs. 350. Besides this, Jio under the proposed plan will offer unlimited use of its music, movie, TV, news and all other apps, video call, SMS for free.
