NEW DELHI: A delegation of opposition leaders who have gone to see the ground situation in Kashmir has been targeted by former UP CM and BSP Chief Mayawati. He attacked the opposition leaders and said that the leaders should have thought once before going there. Mayawati carried out the attack through a tweet. He wrote that Ambedkar was for the unity and integrity of the country. Ambedkar was also not in favour of 370.

The BSP chief said that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has always been in favour of equality, unity and integrity of the country and hence he was not at all in favour of providing section 370 separately in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. That is why the BSP supported the removal of this section in Parliament. But after almost 69 years of the enactment of the Constitution in the country, after the expiry of this Article 370, it will take some time for the situation to return to normal.

It is better to wait a little bit, which has also been accepted by the Hon'ble Court. Is it not a recent move to allow the Centre and the Governor of the Centre to play politics in Kashmir without permission? If it had been considered a little before going there, it would have been appropriate. Several opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, had gone to Kashmir on Saturday. But he was sent back to Delhi from Srinagar airport citing security conditions.
