The Budget session of Nagaland Assembly session is scheduled to begin today which will end on March 30. Chief Minister Shurhozelie Liezietsu on 28 march will present the budget for 2017-18 as he holds the finance portfolio.
In the session, there would be the election of a new Assembly Speaker as Chotisuh Sazo. In the assembly, various discussions will also take place and it will be the last one of the NPF-led DAN government.
It has been in power since 2003 and Nagaland Assembly elections will take place next year.
