At the 36th Festival Automobile International in Paris, the Bugatti Bolide was voted the world's most beautiful hypercar in the Hypercars category. Last year, Bugatti unveiled this hypercar as a concept model.

The Bolide hypercar was built by Bugatti's engineers and designers to be the lightest and most track-focused vehicle possible. This vehicle has the company's W16 quad-turbocharged engine, making it a high-performance vehicle. It also rides on the same platform as the Bugatti Chiron, the brand's most popular model.

Only 40 Bolide hypercars will be manufactured by Bugatti over the next three years, with the first deliveries set for 2024. The premium carmaker stated that the production vehicles will have relatively few modifications, both technically and cosmetically, compared to the award-winning design. Bolide's design was influenced by Ettore Bugatti's weight-to-power philosophy, according to Bugatti design head of special projects Nils Sajonz. “Bolide is the pinnacle of that concept, pure in its design and function," he explained. The Bugatti Bolide will be available in 40 vehicles, each costing four million euros (roughly 34.5 crores).

Bolide presented a different type of challenge to the Bugatti design team, according to Achim Anscheidt, the company's design director. “Bolide was a whole new challenge for our design team, a mental exercise in which we stripped the vehicle down to its W16 quad-turbocharged heart and rebuilt it with the absolute minimum to produce the most extreme Bugatti ever. "The key for us was to respect Bolide's technological needs, focusing first on the function and subsequently on the form," he said.
