Patna: A shocking incident of barbarism has come to light in Hajipur, Bihar. Here, when the girls who were dancing in the wedding celebration stopped the bullies of the village from dancing together, they poured petrol on a 10-year-old innocent girl and burnt her alive. This incident is of Bahura of Baranti police station area. In fact, on Wednesday night, a procession was going out for a marriage ceremony at Bahura in Rajapakad. At the door, the girls of the neighborhood were dancing in the farewell of the procession.

During this, some naughty boys of the village reached among the dancing girls and started trying to dance with the girls. When the girls protested against the boys flirting on the pretext of dance, the naughty boys of the nearby area left from there. Thereafter, as soon as the people of the locality left for the wedding procession, taking advantage of the night and isolation, the domineering boys caught hold of a girl and burnt her alive by pouring petrol. The injured girl has been admitted to Hajipur Sadar Hospital.

As soon as the news of the same incident was received, the police reached the hospital and recorded the statement of the victim girl who was moaning in pain. The girl who got scorched by the fire is only 10 years old and is a student of class VI. The girl, who was badly scorched by the fire, told the police that the brother of Tole Bhaiya caught her from behind and poured petrol, and set her on fire. Regarding this whole incident, Mahua SDPO Poonam Kesari told that there was a fight with the boys of the nearby locality for dancing in the wedding program. The criminal youths have carried out the incident of arson with the intention of revenge, the police have confirmed in the preliminary investigation that the girls had a fight with the naughty boys for dancing, along with burnt clothes and kerosene-like things were also found at the scene of the incident. The criminals involved in the incident are absconding.
