Raipur: A painful case has been reported from Patan in the durg district of Chhattisgarh. On Saturday, five members of a family in village Bathena of Patan police station area created a ruckus among the people after the bodies were found in suspicious condition. While the father and son are found hanging on the noose, dead bodies were recovered in the burned state of the mother and two daughters at Para Vat, 50 meters from the house.

At present, action has been initiated by the Durg police by registering a case. After finding the bodies of 5 members of the same family, there has been a panic in the whole area. The deceased have been identified as Ram Brij Gaikwad (52), Sanju Gaikwad (24 years), Janaki Bai (47), Durga Gaikwad (28), Jyoti Gaikwad (22 years).

It has been learned that as soon as information was received, Durg Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur and other senior police officers reached the spot. According to the police, the deceased's house is located 2 km outside the village and there was not much contact with the villagers. In Patan, even before this, a case of killing 4 people of the same family was reported in village Khudmuda police station Amaleshwar.
