Dehradun: As soon as the convoy of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who came to attend an event in Roorkee, passed near Mandawar, the contracted roadways bus of Roorkee depot came in the wrong direction and came in front of the stopped vehicles. Police arrested the bus driver while taking action in violation of traffic rules. The bus has been seized. The bus was coming from Dehradun to Roorkee.

After joining here, his convoy reached Bhagwanpur at around 1 o'clock, during this time the police stopped the traffic in Mandawar. The Chief Minister's convoy passed through Mandawar, then the contracted bus speed of Dehradun going towards Bhagwanpur came in front of the stopped vehicles coming to the wrong side at the contracted speed.

Sources say that the police personnel present there stopped the bus. The bus driver has been arrested for not following the traffic rules. The bus was seized and parked at Bhagwanpur police station. The passengers sitting in the bus were sent from another bus to Roorkee.
