New DelhI; The 2023 version of the Seltos will go on sale in India by the middle of 2023, according to South Korean automaker Kia Motors. Recall that both the US and the carmaker's home market have already received the facelifted SUV. Six airbags and Level 2 ADAS capabilities will now be included in the updated model to increase the car's overall safety rating.

With the Seltos, Kia Motors entered the Indian market with a bang in 2019. Despite its high price, it is one of the best-selling cars in India. The company is getting ready to introduce the facelifted model here with a slew of safety features, such as six airbags and ADAS functions, with a focus on improving passenger safety.

The 2023 Kia Seltos will keep its current shape but feature a sculpted bonnet, a tiger-nose grille with chrome surround, sleek LED headlights with integrated DRLs, and updated bumpers with skid plates. The SUV will have flared wheel arches, roof rails, ORVMs, and designer alloy wheels on the sides. The back will be adorned with shark-fin antennas and wraparound LED taillights.

The existing 1.5-liter petrol engine (113.4hp/144Nm), a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel motor (113.4hp/250Nm), as well as a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol unit (160hp/253Nm), will all be available in the 2023 Kia Seltos for India. A manual, iMT, CVT, or DCT gearbox should be able to handle transmission duties.

The interior of the 2023 Seltos will be roomy for five passengers and include a minimalist dashboard, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, connected car technology, a sunroof, automatic climate control, and a multifunctional steering wheel.

For the infotainment system and instrument cluster, the SUV should have two 10.25-inch screens. Six airbags and ADAS features will likely ensure the safety of the passengers.

The automaker will provide information at the launch event for the 2023 Kia Seltos, which is scheduled to take place sometime in the middle of 2023. We anticipate it to cost more than the current model, which in India has a starting price of Rs. 10.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
