USA: The 2024 version of the Range Rover Velar has been unveiled for international markets by renowned SUV manufacturer Land Rover. As part of the MY-2024 update, the refreshed model receives a new front fascia with slightly modified LED headlights and grille, as well as updated bumpers. Both of the previous model's turbocharged powertrain options are still available in the opulent SUV.
In 2017, Land Rover unveiled the first-generation Velar model. The recognisable name had previously been applied to a number of Range Rover prototypes in the late 1960s. Originally, the SUV was meant to be a posh replacement for the Range Rover Sport. The updated SUV now has a brand-new 11.4-inch curved floating infotainment panel with the most recent Pivi Pro OS.
The 2024 Range Rover Velar features a muscular clamshell hood, redesigned LED headlamps with jewel-like DRLs, a blacked-out grille, redesigned bumpers, and a wide air dam while maintaining the typical SUV silhouette of the previous generation model. ORVMs, flush-fitted door handles, flared wheel arches, and designer alloy wheels frame the sides of the SUV. There are available LED taillights that wrap around the back.
A 3.0-liter inline-six engine with a 48V mild hybrid system that produces 395hp/549Nm or a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces 247hp/365Nm power the 2024 Range Rover Velar. The engines are coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive.
